Funding Criteria - Is my project eligible for funding?
Our funding criteria provide detailed information about what you must do before we can grant you project funding. Please read it over carefully before going to the trouble of applying.
1. The Federal Cultural Foundation only considers projects that apply for at least 50,000 euro from General Project Funding.
2. In your Cost and Finance Plan (CFP), you must show that you have secured at least 20 percent of the total cost of your project with your personal resources and/or third-party financing. The Federal Cultural Foundation is obliged to reject applications which provide no proof of any secured personal and/or third-party financing by the submission deadline.
3. Only innovative projects with an international context can receive General Project Funding from the Federal Cultural Foundation.
4. Funding cannot be granted to projects which have begun, effected payments or entered contractual agreements prior to the jury session. Please refer to our website for the dates of the next jury session.
When planning your project, please note that awarded funding can be paid out no earlier than six weeks following the jury's decision.
