Barbara Mundel

Barbara Mundel, born in Hildesheim in 1959, has been the general theatre director of the Theater Freiburg (drama/music/dance) since the 2006/2007 season. Following her studies in Modern German Literature, Art History and Theatre Studies in Berlin, Frankfurt am Main and Munich, she worked as a director’s assistant, director and dramaturge at theatres in numerous cities, such as Hannover, Darmstadt, Mannheim, Berlin, Munich, Lucerne and Basel.
