Dr. Lydia Jeschke

Dr. Lydia Jeschke, born in Berlin in 1967, has been the cultural radio programme director for Word/Music at SWR in Baden-Baden since 2009. Following her studies in Musicology, German Studies and Philosophy, she taught and conducted research at the University of Music in Freiburg. She has written numerous pieces about music of the 20th/21st century for magazines, radio broadcasters, CD editions and book publishers. She has also worked as a festival planner for the Donaueschingen Music Days and as a freelance programme editor for New Music at SWR.
