Sophie Becker

Sophie Becker, born in Cologne in 1975, is a dramaturge at the Sächsische Staatsoper Dresden and the Munich theatre festival SPIELART 2009 and 2011. Following her studies in Dramaturgy at the Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich, she worked at the Theater Aachen, the Sächsische Staatsoper in Dresden and the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich. Since 2008 she has worked freelance as a lecturer at the Bavarian Theatre Academy August Everding and as an assistent director/dramaturge for DANCE 2008 and DANCE 2010.
