Further Informations
Dance Heritage Fund
The Dance Heritage Fund will help dance artists cultivate the repertory of the 20th century. It will support the re-acquisition or reconstruction of historic dance works of outstanding significance and lay the foundation for a systematic and exemplary evaluation of the history of modern dance in Germany.
The federal cultural foundation funds Motion Bank, a research project of The Forsythe Company focused on the creation of on-line digital dance scores and also a project to safeguard and present the legacy of Pina Bausch.
The goal of Dance on the Internet is to develop a modern online dance portal like no other in Germany, primarily containing historic film and video recordings of dance. Re.act.feminism #2 is a temporary, mobile archive which documents the works of international, gender-oriented performance practice of the 1960s and 1970s. The performance archive will be shown at various locations in Germany, Spain, Croatia, Poland, Estonia and Denmark from 2011 to 2013.
