After Now (working title)

The HAU Hebbel am Ufer theatre will be staging a cross-disciplinary festival entitled “After Now” (working title) in spring 2027 that explores “war” as the new status quo of our time. Local and international artists will examine the social consequences of this new mundanity of military logic and consider current and past narratives, historical traces and speculative future scenarios related to war and peace. The artistic programme will be supplemented by expert panels and discussions.

“After Now” is funded through General Project Funding by the German Federal Cultural Foundation.
