Suddenly and unexpected

For years the entertainment industry has been working on ways to unite film media with computer games. Michael Brynntrup's project illustrates how much progress has been made in this field of art. "Suddenly and unexpectedly" (Plötzlich und unerwartet) is an interactive film for the Internet and DVD based on the subjects of death and funeral services. As the viewers have the possibility to intervene in a non-linear plot line, the film goes far beyond a screen-play based film narrative.
