Freiburg, Germany and Isfahan, Iran have been partner cities for five years. The Freiburg Museum für Neue Kunst will be commemorating the fifth anniversary of this partnership through an exhibition of Iranian contemporary art. Topics such as mullahs and fashion, the Koran and the Internet reflect the widely dichotomous areas of a society which is remarkably productive in a variety of other cultural fields. The exhibition will present the positions of Iranian artists who portray the social reality in Iran.
