Vivarium and / or Mobile Naturalization Aid for Aliens on the Go!

Environmental debate concerning how best to deal with animals and plants in cities have much in common with the socio-political discourse regarding immigration. Terms, such as "alien species" and "biological invasion", suggest there is war raging in our gardens.
In May 2007 a long-term art project began in Dresden with an installation featuring a protected habitat for exotic animals in public space. The goal of Vivarium was to encourage public discussion about "pests" and "beneficial organisms" in cities.
