Berlin Network for the Promotion of New Music A New Music Network project

ohrenstrand.net [earshore.net] is a network of music institutions in Berlin committed to promoting New Music in Berlin and Brandenburg. The Academy of the Arts, the experimental club "ausland", the chamber ensemble Neue Musik Berlin (KNM Berlin), the Konzerthaus Berlin, kulturradio at the rbb broadcasting company, the singuhr - hoergalerie, the TU Berlin and the Contemporary Opera Berlin have joined forces to organize concerts, installations, youth projects and workshops in Berlin and Brandenburg in the coming years.
Beginning in September 2008 the project "ohrenstrand on the pfefferberg" will offer a joint, ongoing programme in the reconstructed Haus 13 on Senefelderplatz in Berlin. The mobile ohrenstrand project will feature temporary, modular structures for the performance of New Music which will "wander" through Berlin and Brandenburg in the next few years. The discursive ohrenstrand online magazine is planned to begin at the end of 2008.
