Bebersee chamber music festival 2007

Since it was established in 2003, the Bebersee Festival has created significant cultural impulses for the structurally weak Uckermark region in Brandenburg. While continuing to involve cultural artists from around the region, the festival now increased its efforts to attract more international artists in 2007. In addition to internationally renowned singers, the festival invited composers from Greece, Turkey, Israel and Germany to write commissioned pieces for the event. Music college graduates from these countries rehearsed the pieces in a week-long master course and performed the world premieres during the festival.
