siren eun young jung

Project

In spring 2026, the Württembergischer Kunstverein Stuttgart will present a comprehensive solo exhibition showcasing the work of the South Korean artist siren eun young jung (b. 1974). The exhibition will focus on two new expansive video installations that the artist developed together with musician KIRARA in 2024 and which will be shown in Europe for the first time, along with new elements based on their collaboration. Jung was one of the first contemporary South Korean artists to explore feminist, queer and transgender contexts. KIRARA is one of the most successful figures in the country’s electropop scene, exploring her trans body and desire. The exhibition will be accompanied by an extensive programme of events.
