KIDZ (Kultur-Initiative für eine demokratische Zukunft / Cultural Initiative for a Democratic Future) (working title)

In 2022, over one hundred cultural players from Nordwestmecklenburg and Wismar joined forces to form the voluntary KuNO network. The network raises the profile of the regional cultural landscape and its players and promotes dialogue between all those involved.

One area of focus is participatory formats: with “KuNO Kocht”, encounters and networking take centre stage. In another project, a former corona test centre was revived as a “Cultural Test Centre” with artistic projects. In addition to the actively involved cultural practitioners, people interested in culture use the network for information and orientation.
