Project description

The Falsche Farm, located in a village of seventy inhabitants in the municipality of Ebermannsdorf (population 2,300) in the Upper Palatinate region of Bavaria, sees itself as a “place in progress”. Behind it is a non-profit association with thirty members who have made it their motto to ask rather than answer, to try rather than give up, and to do something wrong once rather than do nothing at all. They work together in a place that actively confronts contradictions and aims to encourage participation through a wide range of different, sometimes unconventional activities. With LOKAL, the Falsche Farm intends to create a space especially for young adults where they can try things out and take responsibility – together in the village instead of isolated and online.
