Contemporary Brazilian dance festival

Since its military dictatorship ended, Brazil has witnessed the development of a vital dance scene which has significantly helped the country re-discover its cultural identity. In Brazil, dance is regarded as the genre which most radically reflects social transformation. The Move Berlim festival presented the complex relationship between contemporary Brazilian dance and the country's social reality in performances, lectures, workshops and podium discussions.
