For the second time, the Leipzig theaterbaustelle association is hosting a new dramatic play competition titled PieceWork II. The jury, comprised of dramaturges, directors, playwrights and audience representatives, will award three prizes in this international competition for the best dramatic pieces. Working closely with the winning playwright, his/her play will be premiered for the first time in Leipzig, while the second- and third-place pieces will be presented to the public in staged readings.
