Archived Programs

Through innovative approaches and multimedia, the berlin poetry festival has popularised a literary genre which still has a reputation of being of interest to only a small group of poetry enthusiasts. However, young people are fascinated with the often daring event formats at the festival which, for writers, also serves as a working conference and translation workshop. The 2005 festival will focus on poetry from the Spanish-speaking world, new song culture, sound poetry and the interconnection between text and dance.
