New offshoots from old roots

The Garden Kingdom of Oranienbaum in Saxony-Anhalt became a UNESCO world heritage site in 2000. Its creation and design are evidence of how close the relations between Germany and Holland were during the 17th century. To do its heritage justice, the Dessau-Wörlitz Cultural Foundation is planning a symposium on the theory of garden art with international experts.
