Following the collapse of their planned economies, post-socialistic societies are now witnessing a new and significant economic form - the "kiosk business model". People are earning their livings by opening their own private businesses in relatively inexpensive kiosks which house hair salons, travel agencies or currency exchange booths. The urban development project "Kioskisation" will investigate the cultural effects of this economic trend, construct a kiosk model and publish a multilingual manual "How to open my own kiosk".
