View of things - contemporary art in Poland

Most Germans are not well-informed when it comes to the cultural situation in the new EU member states and especially the current art trends in Poland - an obstacle to understanding the post-realistic socialistic situation in their neighbouring country. The exhibition and symposiums hope to counter this lack of knowledge and provide the German public with an insight into the continuous development of Polish art in relation to the social upheavals of the past 30 years.
