Dance Meets Differences

The DIN A 13 dance company in Cologne does not conform to the conventions of dance theatre. Their choreographies featuring dancers with and without any particular physical attributes surpass classical aesthetic ideas and create new definitions of dance qualities. Their latest project is titled "Dance Meets Differences". The three co-productions with dancers from Brazil, Bulgaria and Kenya encourage the formation of new ensembles. The choreographies all address social taboos such as discrimination, sexuality and violence.
