Know the rules? Now we can perform!

In this joint project by the Junges Theater Münster and “Fetter Fisch”, the participants used suitable theatrical means in the area of performative theatre to help children understand cultural conditionality and the subjective perception of reality. In order to illustrate the age-old Western topos defining the relationship between performance and reality (and the experience thereof), the artists have taken advantage of the relatively new form of performance theatre. With this project, the theatres wished to explore the aesthetic experience of performance, rules and reality in order to make them understandable to children, first by using interactive approaches and later, narrative and performative methods.
