LitCrit - Literary Criticism in European Dialogue

The close alliance between literature and literary criticism forms the backbone of every literary public forum. Until now, however, this criticism could only function on a national level in newspapers, radio and Internet. In November 2007 this project brought literary critics from all around Europe to a conference at the Literaturhaus Munich to exchange ideas regarding traditions, the status quo and future needs. These initial contacts were deepened in workshops and work exchange projects which helped to promote the expansion of the ambitious literary criticism efforts in central and eastern Europe.
